Here are a few of the things I find interesting and
appealing, not in order of importance. This page is still under construction as
I find myself interested in new hobbies every once in awhile. Stop by
now and again to see what's new.
- Motorcycle Touring - My riding style has me putting on more
than 500, and preferably more than 750 miles per day.
Generically, I would be called an Iron Butt type, but I think I am a
couple hundred short of that group. Search for me on the
certified riders list at
Certified
Riders (press cancel if you get the password entry right away).
You will find me under "Saddlesore 1000" for 1,000 miles in 24 hours,
"Bun Burner 1500" for 1,500 miles in 36 hours, and my grandest
accomplishment, the "Bun Burner GOLD" for 1,500 miles in 24 hours!
- Business Leadership - In early 2003, I joined a group that
has as its purpose to help executives by regularly meeting and having
a sort of round table discussion on business issues. Typically,
a member brings an issue to the table and asked for feedback,
suggestions, experience, etc.
- Keep It Simple - In November 1999 I admitted that I should be a
member of one certain recovery program. They accepted me with
open arms. Not very easy to admit,
but it has been a wonderful experience that I would not trade for
anything. I discovered who I am and what life is all about...
for me anyway. I have collected up a few sayings from
along the way that have got me through some tough times. I will take
a chance here to share them with you.
